DifficultyBeginner
Yields6 Servings
3 scallions, white & green parts, chopped
½ cup herbs, packed (I prefer dill, but basil is great, too)
3 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
 1 ½ tsp Dijon mustard
 1 tbsp olive oil
3 garlic cloves, chopped, or 3 cloves black garlic
 2 ½ tsp kosher salt
 1 tsp freshly ground pepper
 1 ¼ cups Hellman's light mayo
 ¾ cup buttermilk, shaken
1

Place the scallions, dill, lemon juice, mustard, olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper in high powered blender, such as Vitamix. Puree to make a smooth mixture. Add the mayonnaise and buttermilk and blend until smooth. Transfer the dressing to a container, cover, and refrigerate for 1 hour for the flavors to develop.
